Dance and City

Through rich colors and strong dance postures full of tension or wild abandon, Michael Shi creates contrast with the linear concrete constructions, the outspoken dancer, juxtaposed to the passerby in astonishment or calmness. This collision gives birth to a drama. Colors, full of morality at this moment, imply the hidden ambition from disguising ourselves in social relations and playing roles in our jobs and careers trapped in cities.
